Contact
One support address for wrong results, technical problems, corrections and tool suggestions.
Support address
Email support@wordtexttools.com. There is no contact form, sign-in or ticket number to create — a plain email reaches the same place. This site is maintained alongside other work, so replies are not immediate and not every message gets an individual answer, but reports of wrong results are read and acted on.
What to include
Every tool runs in your browser, so nothing about your session is recorded and nothing can be looked up afterwards. Whatever you can describe in the email is all there is to work from, which makes these details the difference between a fix and a guess:
- Wrong or missing result: the tool name, the exact text you typed, any filters or options you set, the result you got and the result you expected. If a word is missing, name the word.
- Technical problem: the page address, what you did, what happened instead, and your browser and device. A screenshot helps.
- Correction to page wording: the page address, the sentence in question and, where it applies, a source that shows the correct version.
- Tool suggestion: the task you were trying to finish and where the existing tools fall short. Requests that come up repeatedly are built first.
Before you email
Two things account for most reports. If a word-game tool did not return a word you were expecting, the word list behind these tools holds about 16,750 common English words and leaves out rare, technical and inflected forms — that is a known limit rather than a bug. If a count looks off by one, check whether the limit you were given counts words or characters, since the two rarely agree.
Privacy when contacting us
Please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information by email. A message you send is handled by your email provider and the provider receiving it, so it is not private in the way the tools themselves are. The Privacy Policy covers what the site itself collects.
